Описание: Когда Тай выходит из тюрьмы, он узнаёт, что его брат-близнец Тан, получив серьезную травму черепа, уже год лежит в коме. Подружка брата рассказывает Таю, что для того, чтобы заработать деньги на его досрочное освобождение, Тан ввязался в какие-то подпольные игры, хотя и твердил, что играет всего лишь в баскетбол. Чтобы выяснить правду, Тай отправляется на корты, где тренировался Тан. Там его принимают за его брата и берут в команду для участия в турнире Fireball, где баскетбольный матч до одного очка превращается в жестокий рукопашный бой. Вскоре Тай выясняет, кто покалечил его брата, но для того, чтобы иметь возможность сразиться с ним и отомстить, его команде нужно выйти в финал.

«Hugely entertaining and surprisingly well made, Fireball is a pure, unrepentant b-film that takes its premise and pushes it as far as it can possibly go. And all I can say is bring on the sequel.»
«FIREBALL just misses the basket as a martial arts film, but as an action film with a suitably vicious, fierce and exhilarating theme, it scores quite highly due to its brazen enthusiasm and surprisingly enthralling central performances.»
«There isn’t a whole lot of story in “Fireball”, but that’s not really the point. It’s all about the action, and there is plenty of that to get you over any bumps in the plot. Sure, the premise is ridiculous, bordering on silly, but it is still a fun watch, and it gets extra points from me for including a random street kid in a “Max Headroom” t-shirt.»

«It's almost ironic that parts of this movie are pretty decent - the cast, composed mostly of relative unknowns, manages to sell the concept well enough, and some of the scene-setting photography is very nice (even if the action photography is often a mess). When we get a good look at the fighting, it's not bad at all, and when director Thanakorn Pongsuwan and his three co-writers embrace the gonzo, anything-goes potential, the movie can be a blast.»
«So too the effort into making this a hardcore action film- the fights without a doubt intense and captivating. Pity the story though, which could have used a lot more work to make the characters more engaging. As it is, Fireball is only good for its action and nothing more.»
