Yamashita Tomohisa

Tomohisa Yamashita (YAMASHITA Tomohisa / 山下智久 / やました ともひさ) is a Japanese actor, born on Tuesday, April 9, 1985, in Funabashi, Chiba, Japan.

• A former member of Johnny's Jr., the "idol in training" department of the prestigious boy band/idol agency in Japan. He became a 'junior' at age 11, and is still part of Johnny's Entertainment.
• Is a member of the Japanese boys band "News".
• Was a member of the temporary group GYM in 2006. Their single 'Fever to Future' was used to promote the Women's Volleyball Championship. The other members were brothers Golf and Mike from Thailand. The first letter of each member's name formed the title 'GYM'.
