Plot: Kenichi Satomi (Masanobu Ando), a young, good-hearted doctor, is a 'satorare' ('transparent'), a person suffering from 'Dissociative Bulesis Transmission Disorder', a condition where the afflicted transmits their personal thoughts to anyone within a 10 meter radius. Such people are unaware of their condition, and are strategically separated and monitored by the government, whose concern for the transparents stems from their invariably high IQs and ability to do untold scientific good.

As all the young doctor's feelings are always heard by hospital colleagues, this creates much inconvenience to them and they try to drive him away. In steps a beautiful female psychiatrist who sent to observe and possibly convince Kenichi. As a result, Kenichi falls in love with her and his feelings are broadcast through his thoughts to everyone around him.
