They then decide to use the remaining customers and staff as hostages to gather some time to plan an escape, but they soon realize that an escape is almost impossible.
«A fan of anime? Not a fan of anime? It doesn't matter because either way, Space Travelers can be appreciated for its inventive approach to creating a feature that integrates live action with impressive animated sequences.»
«Katsuyuki Motohiro has accomplished a smash hit again. His movies always have a simple premise but the story turn out to be something you would have never expected. But the strongest point of Motohiro is his camera work and editing, he can turn an ordinary scenes to something very funny, dramatic, creepy or very dynamic in a very effective and imaginative way. But what really makes Space Travelers a must see Japanese movie is the characters in the movie.»
«Despite stumbling in the last reel, "Space Travelers" still manages to be a stylish and thoroughly enjoyable action-comedy, with an easy mix of humor, action, and absurdity.»
«With a pacey script, genuine moments of amusement and some enjoyable performances from the majority of the cast, 'Space Travelers' really succeeded in surpassing my expectations. The cover art and title lull you into thinking this will be an action film but in fact it is a well put together and executed comedy which comes across as a sophisticated international movie for the 00's. »
